Since time immemorial, movies on underworld are Bollywood s favorite recipe. Shabri is one such off shoot of such genre. Directed by Lalit Marathe and produced by Ram Gopal Verma, the movie revolves around the story of a woman gangster, Shabri (Eesha Koppikhar) who seeks to avenge the death of her brother. She kills a cop brutally in broad daylight and then goes absconding. Helping her is an underworld bookie Murad (Raj Arjun) who also works under Rajdhar Babu (Pradeep Rawat). Things begin to go awry when Babu learns about Murad s betrayal and as a result kills him. When Shabri hears about Murad s murder, she wants to seek revenge.
