Salman Khan is back with a bang with Bodyguard! This year's big Eid release, Bodyguard stars Salman Khan in the role of the main protagonist. Salman is always drawn towards trying to protect people he admires, and so it transpires that he offers his services to Ashokan who refuses at first but eventually gives in after Salman saves his life. But Ashokan himself doesn't need Salman around, and so his beautiful daughter (Kareena Kapoor) instead gets Salman as her bodyguard. She doesn't take too kindly to this intrusion and so tries making fake calls to Salman in an effort to get rid of him from her life. In true filmi style, there is a showdown after the romantic duo meet on a train platform and the events that follow forms the core of the film.
