A comedy drama set in the north of England, (Manchester to be precise) depicts the story of a 13 year old boy and his father. The movie West Is West is directed by Andy DeEmmoy and written by Ayub Khan-Din. Our protagonist, Aqib Khan (Sajid Khan) is the youngest Khan of the Khan family who is stuck in the family rules and regulations. His father, George Khan (Om Puri) is the head of the entire Pakistani family. Being married twice, Aqib faces heavy identity crisis and also gets majorly bullied by his schoolmates. As a last ditch effort, his father decides to send him to Punjab and spend some time with his step sisters much to the dislike of his other wife in England.
