The theme of the movie revolves around the lives of four people, Shai (Monica Dogra), Arun (Aamir Khan), Munna (Prateik Babbar) and Yasmin (Kriti Malhotra). On the occasion of his new painting show, Arun bumps into Shai, a photographer by passion and an investment banker by profession. After the show finishes, they end up spending a night together. The very next morning, they part ways to resume their life again. As time moves on Shai meets Munna, a washer man (dhobi) in her building. To fulfill her photographic dreams, she teams up with Munna as her model and she clicks the entire city of Mumbai. Slowly, Munna begins to fall for her intensely.
